This site provides 200+ pages of protection and prevention information by Dr Faulkner. It contains the latest information on child protection including a list of US child protection laws. Also included is a comprehensive list of resources, such as safety tips, publications, and prevention programs. In addition, there are articles for parents on child abuse, personal survivor stories, and a list of statistics. This site is helpful in raising awareness of child abuse. We found the navigation to be straightforward and updates are frequent.
Abuse Topic Center
This topic center focuses on Abuse and includes information on types of abuse (physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, psychological abuse, and neglect). Also included is information about preventing abuse, what to do if you are being abused, and abuse reporting resources. In addition, the site also includes links to valuable resources, related blog entries, questions and answers, and the opportunity to share experiences through an online support community.

A resource for parents, students, educators, education policymakers, healthcare providers, children's advocates, and all others who are concerned with the safety and wellbeing of children. This site provides a large collection of articles, speeches, and letters concerning the effects of spanking children. Its main focus is corporal punishment in schools, but much of the information covers abuse in general.

The resource database provides a listing of private counseling clinics; local social service agencies; state or provincial agencies; judicial, federal and law enforcement based services, as well as private non-profit organizations of a variety of sizes.
Safe Horizon (formerly Victim Services) is a direct service, research, and advocacy organization serving the five boroughs of New York City. This attractive site contains practical information for coping with rape, domestic violence, stalking, abuse, torture, and similar ugly acts, and provides links to resources for those outside of New York.
