|Title:||Mobile Emergency Services Specialist|
AMHC is recruiting for full time Mobile Emergency Services Specialist to work overnights in our Ellsworth location.
The Emergency Services Specialist primary responsibility is to provide emergency crisis resolution services to the communities served by their assigned coverage area. This will include, but not be limited to provide emergency phone intervention services to the communities in Aroostook, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Washington, and/or Hancock Counties, emergency evaluations and follow-up crisis stabilization services. This is inclusive of working with a variety of different people including those with mental health conditions, substance abuse disorders, and those in situational crisis. The Emergency Services Specialist will provide services to all ages.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Respond to requests for emergency services in the community, which includes hospitals, home, outpatient site, and other locations where crisis intervention services are needed.
-Provide client assessment and follow up services as required and consistent with agency policy and procedure.
-Provide case consultation and coordination services.
-Assist in the development of and adherence to crisis plans for consumers using crisis services.
A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field is preferred but will also consider applicant’s with an Associate’s degree. MHRT-CSP certification is required to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position and will be provided by the agency upon hire.
