Title:Clinical Consultant - Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit
Location:Fort Fairfield, Maine



The Children’s Crisis Unit in Fort Fairfield is currently seeking a full time Clinical Consultant.

The Clinical Consultant is responsible to oversee the clinical services offered at the CCSU and to ensure that the services meet the clinical standards of the organization. These standards are inclusive of both direct clinical service, as well as required documentation of those services. Additionally, the Clinical Consultant will provide mental health and substance abuse assessment, treatment, consultation, and educational services to the Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CCSU).

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical consultation and support to Crisis Unit staff; assist in the assessment of area service needs and development of community support for AMHC service programs.
• Provide and/or oversee services provided at the Crisis Unit.
• Attend to the clinical performance of staff; open and maintain case records in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements; and provide effective clinical leadership to emergency services.

Qualifications: This position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, eligibility and Licensure as a Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist in the State of Maine with licensure as a social worker or clinical psychologist. If the individual is not an LCPC, LCSW, or licensed clinical psychologist, he/she also must achieved the certification as an MHRT-CSP.
